India seems to be the flavour of the world these days. And why not ? The stupendous success that Indian Economy and Indian Companies have had, after the liberalization process that the country has had some 16 years ago, has made India the Emerging Economic Powerhouse of the world.

And the color and glamour of the Bollywood industry has made a huge impact around the world. And with recent media reports that Anil Ambani has decided to take india to the hollywood, and finance some of the big Hollywood Production houses, seems to be reason enough to believe that Indian Bollywood Industry has finally got a Large Foot Hold in the Hollywood Country ... USA.

Recently, US President Bush and his Right Hand Condaleeza Rice made some intriguing comments about India and China being emerging as the single most reason for the "Shortage of Rice" worldwide, due to increase in the levels of consumption of Food Items, as a result of the increase of wealth of these countries. May be President Bush and Secretary Rice fear that India and China, due to their bustling economies which are ready to pop out of their territories, will eventually conquer the world economy which is currently being dominated by the USA and other Industralized Nations.

Under these circumstances, how can the Hollywood be left behind in cashin g in on the popularity of "India" and "Basmati Rice" that India is famous for ?

So, here is whats Cooking in Hollywood these days. A movie named "Basmati Blues" is being made with even the script ready.

Its a movie about Genetically Modified Basmati Rice, with an American Lady Scientist coming to India to study/improve Basmati Rice. She is assisted by two Indian Government Officials in the process. And eventually the movie takes a typical Bollywood storyline twist, and turns out to be a "Love Triangle" ! ... wherein the Two Government Officials fall in love with the American Lady ... Well, that sounds interesting enough for me, after seeing some of the famous Bollywood Love Triangle moves like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ... i am eagerly waiting for this movie.

Now that the story is not fully known to me, i can make my Cinematic Imagination in story telling to invent/write my own story ... and give some inputs to the director and story writer and help them to make some better movie which might become the "Oscar Winning" movie of the year !

Here are my suggestions ...

Since this is essentially Basmati Rice movie, i would advise the Director to include a scene involving making of Shehenshayi Biryani using Basmati Rice ... which is my recipe ! ...

( Well ... even if the director fails to include this suggestion in his movie, i guess this makes a perfect "Blogging Sense" for me, to publicize my receipe "Shehenshayi Biryani" ... so that I can invite as many readers as possible to my blog ! :-) )

Now in regard to the "Love Triangle" in the movie ... may be the director can include a scene in the movie ... wherein the American Lady takes the printout of my Shehenshayi Biryani ... and sets out to make the Biryani in the Kitchen of the Accomodation provided by the Indian government ... she is being assisted by the Two Indian Government Officials in the process ... while she reads out the procedure from the recipe printout ... the Two Government Officials cut the vegetables, clean the rice, and cut the onions for Raitha, etc. ... Sooooo nice, right ?

To give it the "turn and twist" of a Love Triangle of typical Bollywood Movie ... while she sees that the Two Indian Government gentlemen are very much  preoccupied in trying to deal with the vegetables for making her "favourite and manpasand" Shehenshayi Biryani ... she shows some mercy on them ... and decides to cut the onions herself ... in the process she finds her eyes submerged in tears ... Now the first Government Official sees her and laughs at her ignorance as to what happens when one cuts Onions ... But the kind hearted Second Government Official sympathises with her lady love ... decides to give her his Hand Kercheif to clean her eyes ... and decides to cut the onions himself to spare her that torcher ...

The American Lady falls for this attitude of the Second Government Official ... she finds him as very Lovable, Adorable and Caring ... and eventually decides to Marry him ... much to the dismay of the First Government Official ...

Sounds a Masaledaar and Interesting Plot doesnt it ?

The director can also take the help of AR Rehman in trying to give some Musical Touch to the movie "Basmati Blues" ... that will make it a very "Sumptous, Delicious and Interesting" Movie indeed !

Finally, the Director should not forget me to invite to the OSCAR ceremony wherein the movie "Basmati Blues" wins the "Best Movie of the year" !

To be frank, I think India is slowly but steadily taking a centre stage in the world in every field ... and India is bound to become a Superpower !
